Paul Battaglia Hi-NRG Gymnastix Coach and Owner Paul has over 20 years of competitive gymnastics and coaching experience and is USAG Safety Certified. Paul received both academic and gymnastics scholarships from the University of New Mexico. He competed nationally as an Elite gymnast and was later selected to be a National Judge for the Men's USAG Junior Olympic Program. In 1995, Paul started World Class Gymnastics and co-owned the gym until August 2005 when he opened Hi-NRG Gymnastix. Paul's coaching philosophy was influenced by personal experience with Doug Day (1996 and 2000 Olympic Judge) and Olympians Rusty Mitchell and Tim Daggett.
Coach Emelie De Geer Emelie is safety certified through USA Gymnastics Association and has more than four years of coaching experience, including the 2006 MIZZOU Gymnastics summer camp. Emelie was a Level 8 competitive gymnast, winning Missouri State Championships in beam, floor, and bars and was the 2004 All-Around Missouri State Champion. Emelie is currently a student at the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
Coach Kelli Shipley Kelli has coached gymnastics for over ten years and is USAG safety certified. She previously coached at Olympiad Gymnastics and World Class Gymnastics and is a parent of a competitive gymnast. As the director of the preschool program, Kelli has developed a fun curriculum geared to enhance coordination, balance, and strength.
Coach Megan Thomas
Megan is safety certified through USA Gymnastics Association, holds a judge's certification for Level 5/6 through NAWGJ, and has more than seven years of coaching experience. Megan competed as a Level 7 competitive athlete, and was the 2006 Missouri State Beam Champion. Megan is a current student of St. Louis University, where she is pursuing an aerospace engineering degree.
Coach Tracy Sheridan
Tracy has over 20 years of competitive gymnastics and coaching experience and is USAG Safety Certified. She has a bachelor's degree in Accounting and has competed as a level 10 gymnast in St. Louis before she started coaching. She has coached several gymnasts who were selected for the National TOPs Team, then competed nationally as level 10 gymnasts, and later received full gymnastics scholarships to top universities. Tracy has a wide range of experience in gymnastics programs including preschool, progressives, boys, cheer, trampoline, summer camps, and competitive team. Her greatest love is her two children, Lauren and McHenry.
